Fall 2010 Studies

“Women Speak of God”

From the earliest days of the church, women have spoken and written of their faith. You are invited to be part of this inspiring study in which you will hear their stories of how God works in difficult times and places. This is a study for both women and men who want to grow in faith and understanding. (8 Lessons)

“A Life Worthy of the Gospel”

An eloquent, challenging six-lesson introduction to Christian ethics that avoids pat answers and simplistic lists of do’s and don’ts. Dr. Sondra Wheeler focuses on the formation of Christian character, citing helpful examples both from Scripture and from church history.

Disciple Bible Studies

Disciple is an in-depth study that is based on the conviction that the Bible is central to the life of a Christian. Disciple invites persons to bring their experiences and struggles to Scripture, to submit themselves to examination by Scripture, and to be transformed by Scripture. Disciple requires daily reading of the Holy Bible and weekly small group discussion based on careful study and preparation. One or more units of Disciple are offered each season at our church.

Disciple I: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study

This 32-week study moves from Genesis to Revelation, covering more than 70% of the Bible during that time. This basic Biblical overview is a prerequisite for further Disciple classes, for Christian Believer, and for Jesus in the Gospels.
